As a professional trainer myself, I know that it is difficult to think of methods to enhance personal training income. I am going to offer 1 really simple and potent way to add extra income that quite a few of us haven't yet thought of. It took me years to learn about this strategy, and I wish I had began doing it earlier.

First of all, I would just like to congratulate you on searching for ways to build more income being a personal trainer. I believe that our duty is important; we support people to get in shape, feel better about themselves, and live longer. The drawback of our profession stands out as the low salary as well as the inconsistent pay schedule. I myself worked as a trainer at a resort, so I truly felt the ups and downs in the busy in-season, and the ghost-town gym lows in the off-season.

The excellent thing with this specific strategy that I'm going to show you is that it will bring you regular profits all through the year and help supplement your personal trainer income.

I'm sure you've often been asked about or recommended diet foods & products to your clients. I find myself often recommending whey protein for clients wishing to add muscle. I've also recommended Omega-3 fish oil, daily multivitamins, vitamin C supplements, calcium and other healthy foods or supplements. Even though I'm more into the natural method of exercising, I do recognize the benefits of taking a few effective vitamins and minerals, and will gladly recommend them to my client. Of course I know the benefits of these supplements first hand since I take these products myself.

I would generally purchase my supplements at GNC or another local well being store. But one day, a co-worker suggested iHerb.com to me. It was the very first time I had heard of it, so I was a bit surprised by all the merchandise they sell online. Plus my friend gave me a $5 off coupon code and shipping was free of charge for orders over $40 so I ordered some of my usual whey protein isolate to try out their service.

Long story short, the product came earlier than expected and everything went well. I also noticed that since I used my friend's coupon code, I also received a $5 off coupon code of my own to pass onto my friends. The iHerb website tells you that if any person orders and uses your coupon code, then you get a 4% commission from their purchase. I had heard of similar affiliate programs like this, but I didn't think much of it at the time.

Anyways, when the topic of supplements or protein powder came up in conversation with clients, I found myself telling others about iHerb and my coupon code. Sure enough, the next time I checked my iHerb account, I had received funds for the purchases that had been made with my coupon code ($1.29, $1.22, $3.15, etc.) I was very excited. I could use this income towards my next purchase or keep accumulating it and receive a payment by check.

This gave me the thought to print my iHerb coupon code on the back of my personal trainer business card. I usually give out my cards, so it's good exposure, plus clients really seem to like getting some kind of freebie or coupon with a business card (which actually surprised me at first!) So even if they didn't turn out to be my client, I noticed that many of these people would still make purchases with my coupon code.

It was a win/win situation and my income has steadily grown since I started using this easy method. Just give out your iHerb coupon code and you'll receive extra income. Plus, after they use your coupon code the 1st time, you'll make money for every future purchase they make. Later, when they get their own coupon code and give it to their friends, you will receive income on all of their purchases as well. There is no limit to how much you can earn.

Currently, I earn over $100 a month and it's gradually approaching $200 each month. If this tip sounds exciting to you and you want to generate some additional income to add to your personal training pay, then I'd be happy to share with you how I did it.

1. If you have a friend that uses iHerb, ask them for their coupon code. Or you can use this code: Ahi214 (If you decide to use this code, I will make a commission from the purchase. Thank you, I sincerely appreciate it!)

2. Order any item from iHerb.com and use the coupon code. Just before checking out, you are able to also add one free item to your order. Look at the top of the screen and click on "Free Products." Select one free item that you like and add it to your cart.

3. Finish your purchase and you will receive a message with your personal coupon code.

4. Tell others about iHerb and your coupon code.

5. Print or write your coupon code on the back of your business card. Or hand out print-ready coupons provided by iHerb.com

To print your coupon on the back of your card, go to http://rewards.iherb.com/ and sign in.
Next click on "Promoting Tips." Scroll down and you'll see different sized coupons that you can print with your own coupon code. As I said before, you can just print and hand out these coupons or you may decide to write your coupon code on the back of your card. Your other option is to copy the coupon image and get it printed on the back of your business card.

I print my business cards online using a web site called VistaPrint. I just input my business card information and upload my coupon code image to print on the back. The cards are relatively cheap but the quality is very good.

6. On iHerb, the exact same "Promoting Tips" page gives lots of good ideas to promote your coupon code. I've personally found that word of mouth and the business card method works the best for me.

I'm really excited to wake up in the morning and see new funds added to my account. On the iHerb site, you can see what some other affiliates are earning. There are several people that are earning over $1000 a month from this same system. I'm not near there yet, but if I keep going at this same rate, I will be there in one year! I'm sure we could all use an additional $1000 a month.

In closing, I hope you have enjoyed this simple and fun tip to increase personal trainer profits. Let's keep this system going strong by only recommending great items that we personally know about or use ourselves.
If you have any questions about how to accomplish the above steps, I'd be glad to assist you. Just contact me via my blog listed in my signature.

Have a very good day and happy training and profits!
